FSKA INDIA BELT RANKING

The color of a students’ belt indicate their rank and their ability. Each step forward represents a further accumulation of skills and knowledge. FSKA’s system of belt colors, is based on 23 steps. Ten for the preparatory grades 10th Kyu through 1st Kyu, three Pre-ShoDan levels, and ten levels for 1st Dan through 10th Dan black belt. FSKA holds belt exams every 2 months for the preparatory and pre-shodan levels, and every 4 months for the black belt levels.

0 KYU – WHITE BELT

10 KYU – YELLOW BELT

9 KYU – ORANGE BELT

8 KYU – BLUE BELT

7 KYU – STRIPE GREEN BELT

6 KYU – GREEN BELT

5 KYU – STRIPE PURPLE BELT

4 KYU – PURPLE BELT
